There are so many different fitness products, programs, and gear out there. Finding the perfect ones is nearly impossible because the possibilities are endless! Throughout the course of this journey it took me a while to try and find the products that work best for me. And because of that I wanted to take some time and share them with you, just in case you haven’t heard of these. I was always on the hunt for products I could rely on. It wasn’t always easy!
Programs
I am never going to be able to tell you the best fitness program out there because we all have different goals and needs. Skipping this during this post didn’t feel right though. So I wanted to share with you the fitness programs I use and absolutely love!
My main fitness program is through Street Parking. If you haven’t heard of them yet well then get ready to be completely blown away. It is like an at home cross fit style program but so much better. They give you a daily workout with 4 different options depending on the type of equipment you have access to. There are modifications for each option and you can mix and match based on your needs. On top of the daily workout there are so many other options. They have active recovery, endurance, accessory workouts and so much more. You will never get bored because there is so much to choose from! A major plus here is the community. It is probably one of the most positive and supportive communities I have ever seen!
On top of Street Parking I use Romwod for active recovery and stretching. Again there are so many different varieties and choices that it makes it perfect for what I need. I like that they have so many ways of filtering the programs based on what you are looking to work on! You can also filter by time which is a huge plus for me. Sometimes I only have time for a quick recovery session and need something that is like 10 minutes. I love having that option!
Shoes
I have gone through so many different brands of shoes. They all had pros and cons. My best advice here is to go to a local running store and be fitted for shoes. I had friends telling me this for years and I never did it. I would buy the latest crossfit shoe and go with that. I figured they had to be the best for what I was doing, but I was wrong. Finally, after suffering months of plantar fasciitis I went to the running store. They fitted my foot and recommended Brooks Running Shoes. After a while I had no more foot pain and am now on my third pair. They are absolutely fantastic for me. If you haven’t tried them I definitely love them. I would still recommend taking a trip to the running store and getting fitted!
Clothes
So diving into fitness clothes could take pages and pages because there are so many options. I am going to keep it to my top two places that I buy my fitness gear from. At the end I do have some discounts for you so definitely check those out!
Fabletics
Literally all of my workout leggings come from Fabletics. I have tried so many different types of leggings and for my body and my activity level. These were by far the best I have ever bought. They fit me perfectly and they never, and I mean never, fall down in the middle of a run or a workout. I cannot stand having to adjust my leggings while I’m working out. I don’t even think I can count how many brands I have tried before finding Fabletics.
When I first heard about this brand I remember reading about them staying put and rolling my eyes because I’ve totally heard that before. Then I decided to give them a try. I was totally apprehensive because I don’t love monthly plans for things. So I set a reminder on my calendar to cancel it. Well, it’s been a few years and I haven’t canceled. I love everything about these leggings, especially the ones with pockets!
Something else I want to add is they send you email reminders each month to either make your purchase or skip. When you skip the month you are not charged and skipping is super simple! If by some chance you forget to skip they will charge you I believe the $59. You will get a member credit that you can use to buy anything on their site that is 1 member credit, which is most things!
The Be Brand
If you have been following me for a while you have for sure seen all of the headbands I wear. I literally wear them during every workout. I am also a kindergarten reading specialist and wearing my hair down while working with little kids is hard. It is always in my face and it gets annoying so I usually wear my hair up for work. I absolutely love these headbands because I feel like it dresses up my hair on the days I wear it up in a messy bun!
The best part of these headbands is they do not move off my head during workouts. I cannot stand having a headband fall off and having to fix it while I’m working out. Before finding this company I tried so many different types. I would wear them one time and then throw them out because I would spend my workout adjusting and fixing them. That is a hard pass for me!
I have been buying these headbands for over 2 years now and recently started buying more of their clothes. They have started coming out with more active wear and their tank tops are fantastic. I love wearing tanks that are a little flowy and these are literally perfect! I was so thrilled when I finally tried them on and as a bonus they are super cute! Lately I have been wearing lot more of their clothes now even outside of working out because they fit great, are reasonably priced, and are adorable!
