Sometimes we just need a little treat and these are one of my kids favorites! We call them Apple Donuts because well they look like donuts!
The best part is they are super easy to make which makes them a mom favorite also. Here we topped them with M&M’s but you can really top them with anything you want! We have done granola, chopped nuts, raspberries, chocolate chips and so much more.
I love doing this as an afternoon snack when my kids get home from school. They always ask me for candy when they get home and I can’t always agree to that as an option. It makes them super hyper and in 10 seconds they want something else to eat. This is a good compromise. It gives them a bit of the sweet they are looking for but also gets some fruit and peanut butter in there!
I’d love to see your “Apple Donuts” so make sure to tag my in your posts @coffee.donuts.fitness
