It’s that time of year again! The time when we reflect on the past year and set resolutions for the coming one. We vow to lose weight, save money, quit smoking, or finally tackle that home improvement project. But it all usually fizzles out by February, am I right??
In this episode we are going to break down some important steps to take to help you achieve those resolutions this year!
- Getting specific with your goals! Like super specific! We can’t make broad goals like wanting to lose weight because really once we lose a pound we’ve succeeded! It’s just too open.
- Make a plan. No surprise here but I am going to dive into how lacking a plan is probably one of the reasons you don’t follow through with those big goals you make!
- Taking action. This is another big one because let’s face it, we can get goals and make plans but if we never take action it is never going to matter! You have to push yourself to just start!
I know this episode is all about New Year’s Resolutions but the truth is, I secretly don’t love making resolutions. I like the idea of them but I feel it sets us up to think we need a specific time to start and you don’t!
