Making my own dressing has been something I recently started but absolutely love. It is so easy plus there are so many varieties! I also love knowing exactly what is going into my dressing because so many brands hide some ingredients that don’t really need to be there!

If you don’t have an immersion blender than I would highly recommend getting one. It helps making dressings and marinades. I have a cuisinart one and I absolutely love it! You can check it out here. (affiliate link!)

I love using dressings on more than just salad! I use them often when we make rice bowls. They are easy meals to make, just use rice as a base, add chicken and a bunch of veggies and top with your favorite dressing (obvi this one!)

Sweet Basil Vinaigrette

Equipment

  • 1 immersion blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • dash salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped basil
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions
 

  • Put all ingredients together and use the immersion blender to mix altogether
