Welcome back to another weekly challenge! We are focusing on movement this week. To do this we are going to be setting a step goal and trying to hit it each day this week. If you have a fitness tracker, like an Apple Watch or Fitbit, you can check out your daily steps. If you do not you will most likely be able to find this information on your phone.
I know for the iPhone you can head over to the health app and find this info. It will be approximate as it will only count steps for the times you have your phone on you BUT it is better than nothing!
I don’t want you to just set a goal to hit 10,000 steps. That can get really overwhelming. If you are currently only doing about 4,000 steps then it is a big jump to 10,000 so maybe aim to hit 5,000 instead!
I just went to my health app and last week I averaged 7,688 steps. This week my step goal is going to be to get 8,500 a day! My steps vary depending on whether I did a run for a workout!
