Reading food labels isn’t some new thing I just came up with. People have been pushing this tip forever but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value. It actually has a ton of value which is why it is our challenge this week.
I am challenging you to read food labels before you buy food OR before you cook or use any food you already have.
I am NOT telling you certain foods are bad.
I am NOT telling you to throw things away.
I am NOT telling you to look for anything specific.
I just want you to read them and in order to make something a habit you have to start doing it.
When I started reading labels I was so surprised to learn how much ADDED sugar was in the tomato sauce I was buying. It really shocked me actually because I never expected added sugar to show up there.
I want you to just be mindful of what you are eating and to start taking notice of things. If you want to make changes after great!
